MDO is proud that since 1983 we have continued to have ALL-volunteer Directors and staff that allows 100% of the funds raised to be applied to the program and directly benefit Deaf/Hard of Hearing children!

Daniel Pfaff

Program Director

Daniel first attended MDO as a participant in the mid 1980’s. He attended many years along with his brother, Joseph, and is now giving back as Program Director. Daniel lives in Indiana where he teaches at Indiana Deaf School.

Michelle Doyle

Assistant to the Program Director

Michelle has been a volunteer for MDO for many years. She loves working outside with the participants and making sure the coaches have all they need to ensure a fabulous week! Michelle lives in Columbus, OH.

Curtis Oldfather

Web designer

Curtis takes developed new design of our website. He lives in Savage, MN, and works as an webmaster at Deaf Harbor and Charles Thompson Memorial Hall.

Sandi Mitchem

Sandi has been volunteering for MDO for several years. Her three daughters attend MDO. Sandi takes care of our administrative needs and also directs entertainment events such as the carnival and banquet/dance.
